STAN A. STOCKTON

Online Instructor

Stan A. Stockton served as a US Air Force officer for 24 years and retired in 2005. He has worked as a defense contractor since then, and is currently the Curriculum Lead and Instructor for the US Air Force Cyber Intelligence Formal Training Unit.

 

Stan obeyed the gospel in 1981 and has been deeply involved in the Lord’s church wherever he and his family lived: Colorado, Nebraska, Texas, Maryland, United Kingdom, Germany, South Korea, Italy, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia. He is an experienced preacher, adult Bible class teacher, and has participated in mission trips to Taiwan and India. He has served as an elder at the Schertz (TX) church of Christ for the past 12 years, and from 2008-2015, he was the Director of the Annual Schertz Lectures. 

 

Stan earned a B.Sc. in General Science (Earth Science Option); M.A. in Communication; M.A. in Ancient and Classical History; and M.Ed in Advanced Studies (Cognitive Sciences - concentration, Adult Education and Continuing Education - focus). 

 

He and his wife, Kathy, have two sons, one daughter, and one daughter-in-law.
