TRENTON KARR KENNEDY

Dean of Academics

Trent Kennedy is a 2007 graduate of the Southwest School of Bible Studies (SWSBS). After graduating form SWSBS, Trent began working with the University church of Christ in San Marcos, TX as the campus minister and director of the McCarty Student Center. From 2007-2019 brother Kennedy focused his work reaching out to Texas State University students through personal studies, evangelism training, counseling, and teaching Bible classes.


Trent has led 12 week-long evangelistic campaigns on the island of Jamaica and done foreign mission work in Cambodia, Mexico, and Paraguay. In the summer of 2015, the Kennedy family lived and worked in Asuncion, Paraguay, where Trent served as visiting faculty for the Academia Bíblica Asunción. Trent and Lisa also worked with the Avenida Sacramento congregation in Paragauy conducting personal studies, teaching English using the Bible, and teaching various classes.


Trent is married to the former Lisa Veazey, and they have four children: Ella, Troy, Luke, and Annie. He holds a master’s degree in public administration from Texas State and a bachelor's degree from Angelo State University with a double major in Communications and Psychology.

 
In August of 2019 the Kennedy family moved to Singapore to work in a full-time capacity as Instructor and Dean of Academics for Four Seas College. Their fundraising is overseen in the U.S. by the Roanoke, TX church of Christ. More information about their family's transition to living and working in Asia can be found at
